Change the COMMENT icon from a "+" to a note icon so its more obvious!

Most of my staff did not realise the "+" below the comment column is actually to add a comment, and some - including myself, have clicked on it to increase the quantity being purchased.
Simple change of icon will make this clearer, get it being used more often as its useful, and allow "+/-" buttons to be placed each side of the item quantity as thats what +/- is usually for...

Following on from my suggestion to change the comment icon from a "+" which doesnt really relate to the function of a comment, once done, actually add the "+" and a "-" either side of the intial quantity of 1 for quick increases and decreases as seen elsewhere on the web, software and other tills...

We have this same experience! Would love for the + sign to mean "increase the quantity" and the comments spot to be called "Notes."
