Convert Quotes into different order types

It would save time to be able to convert a quote straight to a Workshop Job.
Our selling process always starts with a quote for the customer to sign off before being converted to a Workshop Job, but currently we have to convert it to a Workorder and then convert again into a Workshop Job, which is an unnecessary additional step making it a longer process than we feel it needs to be.

Hi all,
We're going to add options to convert quotes into different order types
- Workshop Jobs
- Layaways
This will likely be done for the March 2024 release. I've linked the work item so you'll get updates when this work starts & is completed.

Quotes can currently only be converted to a work order.
If a customer comes back after having a quote and wants to pay a deposit, or pay in full but not collect the item at that time, we need to change this to a layaway.
Anyone else have this scenario?

That would save a few seconds wouldn't it. It sounds like a good idea.
