Customer Rewards updates automatically when email address is amended in POS

Whn a customer email is changed it does not update in www.customer-rewards.co.uk,
customers often change emails when they change job or service provider, however when an email is changed in POS it does not change the corespondence email in customer-rewards, also if an incorrect email is removed from pos then another member of staff adds an email they would not have known that this will not be updated in customer-rewards

We have just found a similar issue where a customer has closed one of their email accounts with their provider and wants to update their email in CR so they can use their points.
However, the NEW CR system seems to have lost the ability to manually change customer email address. Why, and please can we get it back?
As we need to keep Customer Purchase history in a single place so solutions like setting up new accounts aren't the way forward.

This was discussed and considered during the development meeting yesterday and it has been decided that this work can be included in the release due to be deployed in February 2020. Watch out for this change in that release 😊

Agreed. We shouldn't have to change the e-mail accross systems.

I think this did work correctly for a while last year (change an email address in Cloud POS and it updated the correspondence email in customer-rewards and kept the points link for the account). However, as you say it no longer does this and therefore is causing a lot of issues that then involve time consuming processes when spotted.

To run efficiently the system should integrate with customer-rewards.co.uk. At the moment when this happens it just creates time consuming work.
