Customer search needs more flexibility

When searching for a customer you have to enter it exactly as it is in the customer record and it would be nice to have more flexibility.
For example: since we can't have multiple first and last names in a customer record we frequently create customers in the format of "First Name 1 & First Name 2" and "Last Name 1 & Last Name 2".
When we search for that customer we have to remember the order of the names to have it return any results. If it's First Name 2 there talking to us we can't find their record easily in POS entering just their name information.
We could use email or phone, but again, without the ability to enter multiple on a customer record it brings up the same challenges.

Hi all,
We've made some improvements to the Customer search which will be coming with the April release of Cloud POS.
This mostly focuses on enabling partial term search on customer fields, here are some examples
Thanks,

If a customer does not have a first name with 4 or more letters, you cannon search them. I have shown this with Citrus Lime in person. ie, i cannot pull up my own account. ie Thomas, Tom, Dave, David...these are all search issues for names not pulling up. Also, there is a glitch where phone numbers with or without dashes need to be entered exactly as such. This causes search issues and we are now having employees create duplicate accounts.

Is it possible to use same search as at backoffice customer overview, there it is working.
A lot of customers are giving us their last name first, so we need to adjust our search again.
This would lead to a better customer experience, they don´t think we had a typing error.
