Email address update for rewards

I have created a new post for this as it was requested back in 2019 and nothing ever done. When we update a customers email address in POS it needs to update the rewards email at the same time. It looks like this work has been planned for a number of years but as yet still no change. Customers have asked us to have their email changed (which we do) and then a month later get an email to the old address. Makes us look very poor. Crazy that it does not update until they purchase something. This needs as solution asap please.

Hi Neil, that’s the issue I think. The rewards email doesn’t change until another transaction happens on that account which may be weeks or months?

When the email is changed in POS it ought to pull thru to Rewards, we use the old email address as the key but store the new one for emails etc.
Once changed it ought to pull thru the next time a transaction is processed.
