I would like to request that Citrus-Lime add the ability to convert an existing Quote directly into a Sale, without having to recreate the transaction.

There are a couple of ways this could potentially be accomplished:

Add a "Pick Up" capability to Quotes, similar to the functionality currently available for Workshop Jobs and Special Orders. This would allow us to retrieve an existing Quote and proceed directly to completing the sale.

Add "Sale" as an available Transaction Type when converting a Quote. Currently, we can convert a Quote into a Special Order, Workshop Job, Layaway, or Workshop Quote. Adding Sale to these options would provide a much-needed workflow.

The key issue is that the most common next step for a Quote is an actual Sale, not necessarily one of the four transaction types currently offered.

When a customer returns ready to purchase the items we've quoted, we should be able to open that Quote, carry its contents directly into a Sale, and complete the transaction without unnecessary additional steps or duplicate entry.

This would streamline the sales process, reduce the potential for errors, and improve the customer experience.
