FONT AND WRITING TOO SMALL

WHEN PROCESSING TRANSACTIONS IN CLOUD POS2 AND CUSTOMERS OWE MONEY/BALANCES, WHY ARE YOU USING THE SMALLEST, TINY, TINIEST FONT ON THE RIGHT HAND SIZE FOR DEPOSIT AND BALANCE REMAINING? SURELY MISTAKES CAN BE MADE AND SURELY IF BALANCES ARE DUE IT SHOULD BE IN BIG BOLD RED WRITING? THERES NOTHING WRONG WITH MY EYESIGHT EITHER, IT WOULD JUST BE NICE TO NOT HAVE EVERYTHING SO SMALL ON THE RIGHT AND HAVE MORE BOLD AND BALANCES IN RED............. MOAN OVER, HAPPY CHRISTMAS! ;-)

Theres too much space between the fields. Narrow the margins between columns. Use a bold font.

I agree there's a bit too much information in that section. We never need to know the VAT amount on a sale and if the customer does we can print an A4 Receipt.
However on a windows machine you can hold down CTRL and roll the mouse button up to zoom in. On a tablet i'm sure it's just as easy?

I agree. I have 20/20 vision but ALL of the fonts for labels and receipts and everything seem to me to be too thin and too small. If CL doesn't want to make a universal change, maybe they could add an option for bigger, thicker fonts. I hope they decide to do this.

I don't disagree, we've tried to strip that section back as much as we can, we regularly get asked to add fields and this section is the result of those requests over the years.
Everything we thought would not really frustrate customer tiny has been hidden or stripped back.
What opinions do others have, would you like to see more fields hidden away if so which ones? If we display less data we can make the values which remain larger and clearer.

Neil McQuillan - CEO Citrus-Lime Most of what is listed on POS for cashing out is not needed. If there were buttons to access sub menus, that would be better. I must say, clicking on menus that make me log into the back office for customer data makes no sense. That information should be in the POS database not tied in with backoffice. For example: I don't need to see any of this when cashing out. I already selected it and saw the information.

I could literally strip majority of the side screen away and have easy function buttons to information i need and or want to edit.

TJ Zydel This illustrates the challenges with removing things, once customers have started to use information in one place, they understandable find it disruptive if we move things.
I do however agree with the sentiment here, I've fully populated this section and its overwhelming the amount of information displayed so we need to consider changes here.
We're totally focused on the POS 2 backoffice at the moment, but I can see us rationalising this to : 1. Reduce the number of data points displayed 2. Increase the font size. The font size is so small as we're trying to get a lot of data into a small space.

Completely agree. Some of us struggle with eye strain when working at computer. Those boxes on the right are the worst

I somewhat agree with this. It feels sometimes like that area is far too busy.
