Labels are not legible and turn brown/faded after a short time. New labels are a must ASAP

We had a couple of large deliveries yesterday, with several hundred items. After labelling them all with 'peelable' labels in the morning, we spent the afternoon walking round picking them up off the floor.
Absolutely awful, there's 'easy peel' and then there's unuseable.

We also find that when using the stock take app on an iphone, it often has difficultly reading the barcode due to the poor print quality

has anyone had any luck using non CL labels? or third party printer for barcode labels?

Totally agree Carl. I find the star printer labels awful had to send a box back as they printed as if the ink had run out. Must of been a dodgy batch. The replacements were better. The labels also create a lot of debris in the awful star printer and clogs it up and also they can not be aligned easily. So a lot of labels are wasted as they don't scan (they not as good as the milestone printers. The perforated labels for the old zebra printers were awesome!

The font is not to my preference and price is too small.

Oh I have had massive problems too. I had months of bad printing and then when I changed the roll it suddenly printed perfectly clear and black again proving that the actual rolls vary and it’s not the machine. Now I have started another imperfect one. They are expensive but when I reported it I got no feedback.
I agree they fade terribly and make stock look old. The falling off I blame a bit on the surface of swingtags as some ok and some terrible.

We've given up on the auto-self-peelable labels as well after having to resort to stapling them on and now use the permanent ones.
We have found that they can be removed if you're careful and the surface you are applying them to is not too porous.
A reliable peelable label would be ideal.

The 'peelable' ones are so good them peel themselves off items by themselves and are often found on the floor after a warm day.
The regular labels are perfectly fine, it would just be nice to fine tune the fit of the text/barcode to the labels ourselves.
