Light and Dark mode for POS/Cloud POS

We have staff who find the back end very hard to read and can't use it for more than half an hour. It should be simple to check if it is up to W3C standardsadn adjust it.

Yes this would not be possible for POS 1, but might be in POS 2.0. That said the colour palette for POS 2 is darker than POS 1.x.

Neil McQuillan: we have to use a light filter application on some screens to help with some of our staff as the lighter colours fill up a lot of the real estate, having a dark mode would be useful, linked to each user ideally

Richard Twinn: We'd love to do this, it will be great fun.
That said it would delay things like multiple bin locations and changing the way ecommerce orders allocate stock which I think there is more commercial pressure to resolve. We're pushing to get that done before the peak period next year.
What's the screen tool you use that may help some others resolve this in the short term. I've heard on the grape vine that some other customers use Chrome addin's generally for those with impaired eye sight, that way they are not dependent on individual websites making changes.

Neil McQuillan: i agree there's other priorities. the software we use is f.lux. Thanks
