merging batches across 2 tills would ease reconciliations hugely

we run 2 tills, 1 never has cash in it. with our old system we had the option to merge both or run singley (like yours). CloudPOS should know the card amounts and the user counts the cash in the same way, but only one batch report. Consider card takings for one day of £1000, £600 from one till and £400 from another, when matching the £1000 in the bank the next day we would have to create to card receipts of 600 and 400. makes things difficult.

Jon, Thats a super cool feature being able to merge batches. Unfortunately the architecture of Cloud POS doesn't lead itself to merging batches, it would mean a stack of code would need to written and it would effect the integration to Xero and Quickbooks as well, so I'm not sure how viable it is to code up. I will leave the issue open in case its really useful to other retailers.
