Mobile number digit validation

Would it be possible to have a pop-up validation when entering a mobile number for a new customer record, to check it has x number of digits (ideally in UK: 11 digits following 07xxxxxxxxx format)
We continually have till users making mistakes when entering data, and the most common one is too many digits. This would really help reduce this a bit. Thanks

This would be great for Australian numbers also!

Hey Adam,
There is a chrome extension that can do this for you on the customer creation screen. It lets you pick between the international format with spaces or without (+44xxx…) but I’m currently working on adding localised formats too (07xxx). As a bonus it also validates email addresses at the same time.
Let me know if this helps!

Biagio this is amazing, thanks so much! Are there any security risks to be aware of granting permission to this extension?

Adam Thomson The extension is a low-risk utility. Its only external communication is a 'ping' to verify if an email address domain is real and can accept mail, which is done using a privacy-first (no logging), open-source protocol. No sensitive business data, customer names, or financial information is ever transmitted or stored outside of your local machine. You can view the open-source libraries used in the settings of the extension, if you would like to verify them yourself.
Happy to answer any concerns you may have though!

Biagio wonderful, thanks again. I've got it set up and seems to be working well so far
