I was told to report this as a bug when pos2 came out but no update so having to try here to get this upvoted, seeing as POS1 is being retired.
When adding a new service item, after clicking on “add as a new service item” which in itself could be a button to be clearer in poor/bright light, although the service item saves it does NOT then populate, so you have to remember to go back to the field, again, and select the added item. This is causing problems as it’s easy to forget to do this and not intuitive and it’s not how POS1 behaved.
Please can other workshop module users if they feel this frustration upvote this so it gets progressed as it is causing issues in our workshop when the item field remains blank and has resulted in delays for customers as the workshop staff have to then identify and update details when they come in to do their work.

Hi Scott,
Good news! This has been fixed and is in the Cloud POS update that is being deployed this evening, so the newly created service item will be populated in the dropdown after creation.
