New Label Printers to include store name

At the moment, the newest label printers with integrated milestones do not have the ability to have the store name printed on the labels. This is a back step from the old printers, so is this functionality possible?

Increase Font Size and Use Bold Font for Price Labels
Toby K Selph Arnett
CURRENT: If a person is over 40, the font on the pricing labels is unreadable (too small and too skinny/faint). Frustrating to customers and employees alike.
RECOMMENDATION: increase font size and use a bold font. Allow customization, if possible.

I wanted to check if there’s any update on when this will be resolved, as it’s been quite a long time now (coming up to four years). This seems like a fundamental issue, especially considering it's one of the key attributes in a retail environment, and I’m concerned about the ongoing impact.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Definitely a feature that should be added.

Hi all,
We're going to be doing some work on the Price Labels in the new year following Back Office 2.0 completion.
The main focus will be to improve the font size (specifically the Price).
We've been looking at what is possible with our label printer and I've attached a mock-up (very much still a work in progress), but we think we'll be able to make some significant improvements!
Thanks,
Suzy

Suzy Weightman the label doesn't need the "Bike Shop" name on it and the SKU at the end of the description can go as it is repeated under the barcode. Doing this should give you more space to increase the font sizes where it matters.

Suzy Weightman. All fonts need to be in a bold font. The skinny lettering makes it hard to read. And we need to be able to read it when the bar code doesn't work.

Adam Simmons Hi Adam,
Thanks for your feedback, as I said this is just a mock-up and isn't the final solution.
A lot of our users would like the Store name to be printed on the label.
The SKU you mentioned is a demonstration of a Bin Location which we do print on labels depending on the format selected.
Thanks again,
Suzy

Suzy Weightman will there also be changes to the "Was / Now" Format?
As we don't like the Format we do not use it. We cross out the old price and write the new one in red.
If there can also be a change to this Format, it would be great!! thank you
Suzy Weightman
Heike Erdmann Hi Heike,
It's likely that we'll rework all of the label formats including the Was/Now display - but is there anything specific or in particular that you'd like to see?
Thanks,
Suzy

Suzy Weightman thank you for asking.
I don't know if the Printer is able to print red, but maybe:
- Titel: SALE
- cross out the original price, make it smaller and make the new price big and bold
Just played a second with your picture. ;) But if red is not possible, the Price change should be visible. The current format does not catch the customer's eye.

Suzy Weightman We're new to Citrus Lime, but are glad to hear that a label redesign is planned. For reference, and as an example of what we'd love to see in the redesign, the pic below shows a label from our current system, compared to one generated from Citrus Lime.
Ours are just barely larger, but they fit a lot of info, and are printed in Bold by default. The shorter barcode height leaves room for 2 lines of Description. Since CL treats the ILC and Barcode as the same data, the area used for the ILC could be repurposed for a store name, as others have requested.

Patrick Delaney Thanks Patrick, that will be really useful having another example to work against.

Price on Labels is too small

Please can we make the font bigger for the prices on the barcode labels, customers are struggling to see it. Thank you
Neil McQuillan - CEO Citrus-Lime
You can expect to see a redesigned barcode format from Citrus-Lime, likely in the New Year.
Our aims are :
Larger text;
Clearer pricing information;
Better barcode location leaving more space for text/pricing;
A more attractive layout, ours was created in the early days of Cloud based receipt printing and as such was limited by the available technology of the time.

I agree. The font needs to be bigger and bolder please.

Agree needs to be bigger/bolder

I find them very hard to read and there is so much white space - room to put bigger text!
