Is it possible to change the way return orders are processed in POS so that it works more similarly to packing?
Ideally, we would like team members to scan each item as it is returned, with the scanned items highlighted on screen in the same way they are during packing. This would make it immediately clear which items have been returned and which need to be removed before processing a refund.
At the moment, the process is very manual, with team members visually checking barcodes. This leaves room for human error, particularly when handling multiple similar items, where products can easily be mistaken or mixed up. A scan-and-highlight process would improve both accuracy and efficiency within returns handling.
