Recalling Orders when adding customer to sale

Hi all,
We're going to make this change so when a customer is set in the POS we'll show a dialog notification if the customer has open orders.
I expect this to be in the July release of Cloud POS - I've linked our work item so you'll get notifications as this progresses.

Is there an update on this?
Would love to avoid the attached picture. When multiple people in the shop, no one realizes there is already a workorder open for the customer. Now I either have to ring out 4 different transactions OR go through and combine into one. IN FRONT OF THE CUSTOMER...... This is the most insanely embarrassing and WASTE OF TIME. Why is this not a priority?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I posted about this issue a while back and it is still not resolved, and it’s causing a lot of problems. There’s been confusion, frustration, and even embarrassment, not to mention a loss of revenue.
The issue is that when a workorder or layaway is created, the person ringing up the sale often has no idea that the order has already been partially picked up but hasn’t been fully paid for.
I’m really asking (and frankly, begging) that this gets fixed immediately. It’s becoming critical and needs urgent attention.

this has request has been raised before. It would be really nice to know when a customer is added to a transaction that they all ready have other open pending workshop, special orders or Layaways.

Periodically a customer speaks to different colleagues who each create an order for that customer. When customer details are brought up can you create an alert notifying of any related open orders. Can this also provide the order number and store (if multi store).
Particularly for multi-store sites there is potential for fraud where a single payment such as finance or bacs could be unwittingly accepted against more than one order.

I'd like to come back to this. Found Staff making mistakes and entering duplicate orders because the system does not Prompt the User when there are pending orders for the customer.
