Reminder messages on Orders, Workshop Jobs, Layaways not displaying

We've tried to be clever by adding reminder messages on items to remind staff about certain things, particularly when booking in workshop jobs however, I've noticed that these reminder messages only appear when tendering the items ie if you are adding to an order or workshop job, the message doesn't appear until you are tendering the job.

Is it possible to make these messages appear whenever the item is added?

If it helps, we use a message that pops up every time a tyre is added which reminds people to charge the recycling fee for the old inner tube/tyre. That might work. It pops up immediately when the item is added to any order

Yes please! That would be so helpful. I keep firgetting to add the $15 battery recycle fee to all new bike purchases. It would be helpful for the message to come up before we're at tge Tender stage.
