Remove customer address and phone number from 40 col receipts

We have customers complain and query why we print customer details on the 40 col receipts. Should they lose or drop these receipts it has a lot of information about the customer.
Please could this information become an optional setting in Cloud POS (in case some retailers rely on it) as we would like to switch it off so that only the customers name and account number appear.

We tag sold bikes on the shop floor with customer receipts but have to black out the customers details every time. We don't want prospective thieves walking around the shop and logging bike and addresses ready to steal once the customer takes delivery.
Removing address details would be a massive benefit.

Neil McQuillan I am being hassled by our management team to get this removed. They have come from other businesses and retailers and believe this adds to the risk of breaches of data. Is this likely to happen or is there a way you can think of for individual retailers to remove this?

We have been asking for this for a long time and it is something that we've had quite a bit of correspondence with James about. We understand that it is something that is being worked on. We're not sure where it is currently but the more votes the better!
