Ring out multiple workshop jobs at once

We have large families in our area, and they come in with multiple bikes at a time for repair. While it is imperative that we keep track of the work done on individual bikes, we also need the ability to ring ALL of the workshop tickets out on one transaction. Please add this to the system! (Our old POS that begins with an "L" allows for this, and it makes it much easier and more efficient.)

This would be very nice to have. Especially since other software we use did this. Customers are not happy having to run their card multiple times when cashing out. Example 3 bikes being picked up.

This would be great to have implemented

I'm off to chat to a couple of retailers in the US in October, this is on the agenda. It's a little more complex than we might like due to deposits, backordered stock, partial line pickups etc etc but it's something we plan to address.

Neil McQuillan thanks. Another possible option could be a single ticket. Capable of having multiple bikes on it. Similar issues would arrise with one bike being licked up and another not, or deposits, or special orders, but if its eaiser to create segregation within a single ticket, that would work as well.

I have many customers who drop off/ pickup multiple bicycles for service. Is there, or could there be a way to merge multiple bicycle open orders and ring them up together.

Yes, this functionality would really help smooth the workflow at checkout - it's not an uncommon situation.

It the payment that causes us an issue when we just want to do one card transaction. Adding multiple jobs to 1 bill would solve this please.

Try a family of skiers coming in with 5 sets of skis, several times a day on a busy weekend. It is cumbersome to have to put them on account to combine payment but also important that each job is separate so the technician knows what needs doing to each item. Although it’s difficult to work out a way a system could manage this!

Scott: Our former system would actually have separate work orders, but when you pulled one up by the customer's name or the work order #) it would pull up all others associated with the name. It also allowed you to select only certain work orders, if say only 1 out if 5 bikes or skies was getting picked-up). It was incredibly efficient (in fact, yesterday a family picked up bikes they left for service in June, and I was able to pull up their order in Lightspeed and complete the transaction, it was SO simple and quick!). If Lightspeed can figure it out, I know Citrus-Lime can.

The Team: Yepp and any Linnworks backboned solution can too. Hopefully more news this feature as I have always been a bit of a lone voice as most of our servicing is multiples of items so would be great if they could, not as easy to do as it looks though. But possible if enough people ask for it :)
