Second screen for customer info

Whilst on hols abroad, I noticed a lot of POS in various stores have a second screen for customer information, showing simple things like item, cost etc. etc.
It would be great to have this on the POS to improve the customer experience and speed up processing times during peak hours.
it could show offers/starbuys/email signup requests. a quick google image search shows something like this
it could even be a 'cheap tablet' that links somehow to the terminal ID

I’d like to have a customer facing display facility for tills running on the Cloud POS.
My previous EPOS till had a simple LCD display pole, I didn’t appreciate how useful it was until having to rely solely on verbal communication with customers and lip-reading with deaf customers.
It would be great to have the visual aid, giving customers confidence that their order is being understood correctly and ensuring that the payment process goes smoothly. It may also boost customer satisfaction seeing multi-buy offers and loyalty rewards being applied?
Expanding on the basic LCD display, I believe some systems can link to a tablet-style display & this could be customisable to some degree?? And maybe display instore messages/brand promotion while on screensaver mode…. dual purpose…. making the most of footfall and creating further sales opportunities perhaps??
Given the increased awareness and media coverage surrounding the experiences of the deaf community (CODA film, Rose & Giovanni on Strictly), I’d like to make every effort to accommodate others with needs different than our own.
Hopefully others will agree and push accessibility up the to-do list 😊

Really a basic for bricks & mortar stores, (even the push-button-ker-ching cash register I started with donkeys years ago had a basic LCD display for a reason)
It gives customers confidence seeing their order totals when asking for payment and that relevant offers/vouchers have been applied.
As Richard suggested, it could run 'screensavers' when not in use promoting brand awareness/offers etc
Could the tablet idea even be used for customer own entry when requesting data? - minimising errors in taking down email addresses?
Is it an expensive/very technical problem to solve from the Citrus team side?...Or is it just not enough people voting for it?

This was requested for the older RMS and would be such a great addition especially if you could also have an image highlighting offers when not in use.

I have also asked for this previously in assisting transactions with deaf customers but it would have multiple benefits for all users.

Neil McQuillan - CEO Citrus-Lime: this would be a nice to have. things i'd like to see are list of items on the transaction with pictures would be great, totals, options for promotions when no transaction is taking place. hope that's a start!

Neil McQuillan - CEO Citrus-Lime: Being able to confrm an email address and mobile would reduce errors. We have had to mount a monitor on a swivel stand so customers can check we have entered correctly
