Hi Brian,
When the Workshop Module is enabled, the Recall Orders grid includes two additional fields: Workshop Job Status and Service Item.
I spoke with Adam, who managed your project, and understand that not opting for the Workshop Module was a conscious decision. However, if you're interested in exploring it further, I'd be happy to arrange for someone to reach out and discuss it with you.
Thanks,
Suzy

Suzy Weightman I only mean in any of the recalled orders. Not specifically the workshop module. I feel like even for the people not needing to pay for the module it should be able to show what the bike is in the list by showing the service item. I either view it through POS "recall orders" or through the backend under "customer orders". But I feel like even for the cheapest customer that should be standard to have it be able to show me what the customers name is, the bike they have in, and a quick info on what is being done for service (which I put in under order reference section).
Hope that is more clear. Thank you.
Brian

Brian Pierro Hi Brian,
Definitely, both of those fields are currently linked to a Workshop Module license - but only the Workhop Order Status is directly tied to it's use with the Service Items available to use in the POS and Back Office.
I think we can probably unpick this, so the Service Item field will show in the recall orders grid all the time.

Brian Pierro you can put the bike details in the reference which shows in the recall order page

I still do not think it should be too much of an effort to have this as a viewable field when you pull up the recall orders list.
I understand that the workshop module is something that you want to sell but if you just do not need that much functionality and its not worth paying for it should be something fairly simple that should be able to be shown.
Just a few basic things so I can see a bit of info on what is needed on the bike, whose bike it is, and what bike it is. BEFORE you pull it up to read your notes. You should not need to retype the bike in the reference when you already have a field that you put the bike into for the customer. Just very basic functionality should be available without someone having to pay extra for the workshop module when they do not need it.

Brian Pierro: Hi Brian,
I just wanted to clarify that the comment re. using the Reference field was from another customer who was putting forward an idea of a work around.
We will be making the change so the Service Item is shown in the Recall Orders grid.
Thanks,
Suzy

Suzy Weightman sorry about that! I could not tell where "info" was from. My mistake. Thanks for mentioning that and the replies to my small request.
