Show Gift Voucher Code on Sales Receipt

It would be very helpful if the gift voucher code used for a purchase was displayed on the sales receipt. We had an issue where a dad was querying the use of a gift voucher. It looks like his son used it, but we can't prove if that exact gift voucher was used because the code doesn't show on the sales receipt. And I can't find it linked to the transaction anywhere else. I have found the date it was redeemed, but it doesn't definitively link it to that transaction.
I might be missing something, but this would be uselful.

Also if CL are going to the trouble of doing this, perhaps add in a feature where it shows the balance remaining on the voucher (if applicable)?
Currently we update this in biro (other ballpoint pen brands are available) on the gift voucher to show the balance remaining.

We had a similar issue, daughter used her fathers gift voucher as it was linked to her account. Very embarrassing when he came in and tried to use it.
