Could we make a bigger show of the savings people make by shopping in store. This would have two benefits:
  1. We and the customer can see what is discounted and act as a reminder as to what can be refunded and what can be exchanged, and for how long for.
For example we offer 14 days exchange only on sale items. Also helps staff when a customer comes back to return or exchange an item, without investing the time to recall the order unnecessarily
  1. Everyone feels great about saving money... best to remind them. Like tesco and the like do.
