Slow down auto search response.

Info
I would like to request that the feature where a search is started as soon as you stop typing could be made slightly less responsive. You can’t even get a space in before it’s auto searches which often results in having to delete characters which kind of negates the point of the super fast searches.
I don’t think it would have to be by much but it just seems to react to the slightest of pauses.

Hi all,
We're bringing the fix for this issue forward, we expect this to be in a hot-patch of Cloud POS next week.
Thanks,

Remove the 'Auto search' function from the Cloud POS Lookup Screen.

The new update that starts searching for customers/products before you've finished typing is infuriating as it removes the cursor from the screen requiring you to click in the search box again.
If a customer is reading their phone number slowly, or spelling their name slowly (or if you're just not a fast typer) you now have to click numerous times back in the box to carry on. This often means you need to ask the customer their number/name again.
Either keep the text box Live, slow the search time down, or go back to searching when you hit enter.

Ah, I've just posted a new one about this. It's so frustrating it's got my staff wanting to smash up the computers!

Problems with Chrome AutoFilling Fields

The browser auto fill function is utterly annoying as it keeps wiping out anything you try typing.
Honestly it is the most frustrating thing ever

Hello,
Could you provide some screenshots of where you're seeing this issue in the system so we can look at functionality, and hopefully address the issue for you!
Thanks
Suzy

Suzy Weightman It's in any search field in customer or order searching. Any pause in typing, or using a space will start to pull results. The problem is that whilst the results are being pulled, you cannot type and now it even removes the cursor from that field. This means that it constantly misses inputs and you have to keep clicking back in the field every few seconds

birmingham dc Thanks for the extra info, this issue has been raised and we have a fix planned for this, coming in the next update of Cloud POS.
I'll merge this post into the existing one so you get updates on progress.
Thanks again,
Suzy

Keep Search Box Cursor Active After Pause

As the moment, any pause when using the Customer Search boxes leads to the pool of customers within the search being updated, BUT the cursor becomes disactivated.. this is VERY frustrating when, for example asking the customer to read their mobile number out over the phone , as you may have to click back into that search box two or three times.. or you dont , then realise you have pressed the numbers on the keyboard and they have not registered.
