Hi all,
We're going to make a change so that the Total is shown in the collapsed view as well as the Pick-Up Total on the transaction summary for orders.
This will be in the next update of Cloud POS (July 2024).

We're looking at trying to make sure the relevant information is displayed when it ought to be, particularly on this pickup issue.

If displayed on the main screen it is quicker to see than having to drop down the side box. The main screen should be a simple transaction screen. It doesn't have to be overcomplicated.

Could you help me understand why them being in the box is a problem? I just to make sure I understand why they perhaps need to be present twice or indeed moved to the main transaction area.

Neil McQuillan Its certainly an issue on special orders, you have to click on the transaction link to see what the transaction value WILL be when items are selected for pickup, otherwise it just says "0.00"

Service Ah that is helpful, I suspect we can find a way to address this, are there any other places this is an issue?
Its a delicate balance between trying to get all the essential information on the screen, and adding so much it looks so cluttered you cannot find things (which our older till user interface suffered from this, it had so much on the screen you couldn't find anything quickly). It also because of this, was unusable on smaller screens such as iPads.
In this instance I wonder if we can display the field when its relevant (e.g. a special order). The current till user interface only dates back to December so it will evolve to become more intuitive over time.
