Maybe do this on quotes as our workflow and I assume for many is quote and then await go or no go at which point it’s moved to a workshop job? But as we have deleted a few quotes (to tidy up our system) that haven’t gone ahead it would be handy to have a recovery button on the customer record

Agreed, this can be a very large time suck if its a large order and I know I wouldn't want to try and rely on my memory for the specifics 4-8 weeks later to recreate the order.
I do understand that this could be done as a quote, but I think many people share the sentiment of not having open/irrelevant orders hanging around.
