Instead of defaulting all jobs to 60 minutes, divide the total labor dollars by the hourly shop rate to determine labor units. 150$ of labor with a shop rate of 100$ per hour should be scheduled for 1.5 hours.

Yes! Have seen this in other systems and saves a lot of time and mistakes keeping mechanics much happier!

Alternatively being able to set time amounts on labor items would be a nice way to make the workshop job time dynamic.
