Auto-refresh the Workshop Module
planned

It would be very useful if the Workshop Module would automatically refresh after a period of inactivity on that computer, instead of needing to hit the 'Refresh Workshop' button every time you want it to update. There's a danger that you miss new appointments added by other mechanics because you haven't refreshed it. Emma from Citrus-Lime looked for a Chrome extension that would automatically refresh the page for us, but we couldn't find one that would stop/restart the refreshing when we are interacting with the screen.

Hi all,
We're planning on implementing this in Workshop 2.0.
We'll basically look for non-activity on the page (including board view, calendar view & list view), and if there hasn't been any activity (mouse moves, clicks, keyboard input) for a period of time we'll auto-refresh the data on the page.
We'll also have a general "Refresh" button to force a refresh at any point.
Thanks,
Suzy

Agree, that’s caused hiccups in our workshop and scratched heads more than a few times
