We have just learned that booking reminders send emails and text, can we have control of what message type are sent i.e text, email or both

We're not going to progress this one at the moment. The main reason is because we're exploring a new solution for the Workshop which would allow customisation of when and how communications are sent, so we'll look into this idea as part of that piece.

When scheduling a service reminder, we already give control over which communications are sent (email, SMS or both) - this is shown in the attached image.

Would you be looking for a similar configuration for the Booking Reminder settings, to sit alongside the 'Days Before Booking to Send Reminder' setting?

similar to pay by link it's only sms and would love to have more control over email formatting etc.
