Different time blocks for jobs

In the current workshop module a mechanics job is broken down to half an hour blocks.
So if a job takes 1 hour and 10 minutes we have to block off an hour and a half . For better time management and day planning it would be great and a lot more efficient for this to be 1minute blocks.

Hi all,
With the launch of Workshop 2.0 this week, you can now select the Minutes per Cell option for the calendar with the options of 15, 30 or 60.
Thanks,
Suzy

That's good news.. finally resolving this issue from 2002. Whats the time-line for roll out of the change?

TheShopTeam: Hi there,
We're aiming for the end of 2025 for Workshop 2.0 to be ready for our beta phase with full roll-out following pretty shortly after that.
Thanks,
Suzy

Configure the time increments in the Workshop Module

Currently the Workshop Module is in 30 minute blocks. It would be beneficial to configure this so that it can be set up with 6 minute increments as this is how the labour is charged within our Workshop.
This would make billing and scheduling much more precise.

I would like to address this in workshop 2.0, we're not far enough down the line to commit to exactly what granularity of timeslots we'll allow, however we'll add this to the agenda.

Agreed the workshop module is clunky being in 30min chunks.
We'd definitely benefit from it being in 15min or 5min chunks. (we bill on a 15min basis).
If possible a time line devisable/configurable by what ever unit of time any specific workshop needs would be brilliant.
This way workshops who like 30min chunks could retain them and any workshop with a requirement for more bespoke/precise units of time can tweak them to their specific requirements.
