One of our mechanics was talking about ways to increase off-season service revenue. He was asking if there was a way to schedule specific follow-up recommendation communications to the customer. This would be outside of the normal interval communication. I schedule texts all the time on my phone when I'm up at odd hours so this got me thinking.
A scenario: Customer just had a tune up done but didn't want to wait for parts to do a fork service. Message would be - 'We discussed doing a 200 hour service on your suspension back in July. Now that it's the off-season it would be a perfect time to get this taken care of.'
