Hi everyone,
We're going to address this by adding a new field for 'Sales Rep' on the job card. This will sit next to the 'Order Created By' field, which displays the cashier name. Therefore, if you share a cashier login for the Point of Sale, but use Sales Reps to indicate which staff member is actually creating transactions/orders/jobs, you will now have visibility of that in the Workshop Module.
If helpful, once this is introduced, you can set your till/register to enforce Sales Rep for each new transaction or order, following the steps here: https://howto.citruslime.com/41974-getting-started/mandatory-sales-rep-on-every-transaction. This will ensure that it does not get missed or forgotten.
We're planning to start work on this in the next fortnight, and pending successful testing, we're targeting an August release.

What we would be looking for is something similar to the tills where the cashier can select a sales rep, but for the workshop.
This way, we can have one person logged in, and essentially say who is creating the job .

Thanks for your feedback here.
At the moment, you can see which user created the job in the Point of Sale when you're in the Workshop (see image attached).
If that's not what you're driving at here, can you explain a bit further?

Emma - Citrus-Lime hi, that works fine if you are using a multiple user cashier login but many of us don’t have that need and for efficiency and have a single login being used for tills. We are writing the name of the person taking the job in manually in the job heading but sometimes forget. Thanks!
