You can add a service item from within the workshop module which works well but you can't add the serial number unless you are in POS. The ability to add a serial number from inside the workshop module is a must.

Hi all, 
It's now possible to add and edit the serial number against a Service Item in the Cloud POS Workshop. 
We have plans to improve the display in the drop-down so you can see the serial number as well as the name - watch this space!

Hi all, 
We'll add this as part of the Workshop 2.0 implementation, so you will be able to create and edit Serviced Items from within the edit panel for a job.

Agreed, looking for that as well. Also, as we do lot of ebikes we have key numbers to add, or gps code, could we get more fields then just the one with serial number?
