Thank you for your feedback.
Jobs that haven't been assigned to a Mechanic do show on the main Calendar view. For example, in my screenshot (attached), the job for customer Steve Mitchell does not have a Mechanic assigned, but it still displays.
The unassigned jobs will not show, however, if you swap to viewing the Calendar grouped by Mechanic (or by 'Mechanic and Date'). Is this what you are referring to? If so, would you be looking for a configuration option to prevent jobs being dragged-and-dropped onto the Calendar without a Mechanic assigned? (Not all Workshop users will assign Mechanics to jobs - for example, if they only have one mechanic in store - so we wouldn't want to make any changes that would be prohibitive to their workflow.)

Emma - Citrus-Lime Th issue we are having, Is that the shop floor staff click on mechanics to see what is available, if someone hasn't selected a mechanic on a previous booking they think the day is still available and double book. the calendar needs to be able to only book in 1 job at a time for each mechanic, the old one did. The old one automatically assigned the mechanic when the job was dropped on to their column. and it was 1 column per mechanic
