Workshop 40 Col Printer and Storage Location

It would be great to be able to have the workshop function without a POS. IT can do mostly everything stand alone but it cannot print a 40 col receipt without a POS. We use a huge amount of 40 col receipts for workshop jobs so not having to rely on a POS would be great. I notice what we can print full page to a network printer and bar codes but not 40 col.
A networked 40 col printer would be a great addition,
Also, having the storage location of the service item print on the 40 col receipt when printed from workshop. Right now POS will print the storage location but not workshop, this causes us to reuse the original 40 col ticket so it has the storage location but will not have the correct info on it when the bike is picked up. This isn't a huge issue since the correct info will be in the POS. But more importantly is just having workshop be able to print the storage location.

Can I clarify a few points with you?
- "IT can do mostly everything stand alone but it cannot print a 40 col receipt without a POS." You can print 40-Col receipts from the Workshop Module - there's a button top-right when you have the job open, or you can right-click on a job (from the Board or the Calendar view) and click 'Print 40-Col Receipt'. Did you mean something else?
- "A networked 40 col printer would be a great addition." - Our 40-Col printers are already networked - you can print to them from any PC/Mac/tablet device that's logged into your Cloud POS account, regardless of location. Did you mean "networked" in a different sense?
- "having the storage location of the service item print on the 40 col receipt when printed from workshop" - we'll take a look at that! Thanks for the feedback.

For, "IT can do mostly everything stand alone..." I know that you can print from workshop tickets, but they need to print to a POS Lane. Our workshop is in a different room from where our POS Lanes are and it is a waste of time for the technicians to have to walk across our sales floor just to get a workshop ticket. It isn't just the time walking (not far we have a 4000 square foot area) but the distractions from customer now asking mechanics questions and employees now socializing that wouldn't have happened if they didn't have to leave the workshop.
This leads me to point number 2, "A networked 40 col printer would be a great addition." I know that your receipt printers are networked but they are tied to a POS Lane so in order to print to one of them you need a POS Lane, therefore if you want to print a 40 col receipt in the workshop you need to have a POS lane in the workshop (which we do just to solve this problem). My recommended solution is that you allow a 40 col receipt printer to be a networked machine that isn't tethered to a POS. You already do this with Label Printers and Full page printers. If you had this option then all we would need in the workshop is a 40 col generic networked printer that people could print workshop tickets to.
I know there are many shop that feel the same way about this because it allows the workshop module to have autonomy and not rely on a POS Lane and many many shops have been commenting on the autonomy they would like to see from the workshop module.
