Excluding 'Price' from SIM price updates

I would like to see the option to be able to stop the Price (as opposed to MSRP) being update when using SIM to update prices. The majority of items we sell are at MSRP so being able to update these through SIM is great but it does cause problems with the items that you are choosing not to follow MSRP.
Would it be possible to have a check box next to the price which would exclude it from any MSRP SIM updates?
There is another post which touches on this amongst other things https://citruslime.canny.io/citrus-lime-backoffice/p/update-prices-from-non-sim-suppliers

Suzy Weightman Would this also resolve the issue of automatic SIM price updates showing a discount percentage onsite of 0%? This is an issue we have, we end up with SIM updates causing 0%-2% discounts displaying on the website without us being able to notice without going through products on the site. This might be another suggestion ticket, but only showing a discount on items that have been selected as "on sale" would be good.

What would also be very handy is an option to 'Maintain current discount' wherever SIM is used to update prices. We have many Brand Discounts in place so cannot use SIM to update MSRP/Price.
E.g. Bell Helmets have a 5% discount off MSRP. Bell accessories do not.
Running a SIM MSRP/Price update would cancel all the helmet discounts.
Ticking an option to 'Maintain current discount' before running the SIM update would work very well.

Hello!
Would you be able to clarify where in the system you would like to be changed?
- When an item is Linked To SIM, the Description, Season and MSRP will be updated (but the Price will not).
- On the Price Wizard, you have the option to update MSRP only, or Price & MSRP.
- On Purchase Orders, you have the option to update MSRP only, or Price & MSRP.
Thanks,
Suzy

Suzy Weightman: Hi Suzy. When we want to use SIM to update prices we will often use the Update Pricing Wizard and will generally use 'Update Price to match MSRP' as we tend to price most items at MSRP. Of course this does cause problems for the few items that we don't follow MSRP so a way to exclude these items would be very useful. My suggestion would be a checkbox next to the price which makes it exempt from such updates. Perhaps when running the pricing udpate, you could choose to deselect any item that has this box checked or better still, it just does it automatically. This was also mentioned in the post that I have linked to.
