Use phone number/email address more than once

Often family members use the same email address or may have the same phone number. Is is possible to allow the use of the same email address on multiple records or same phone numbers?

In our shops work flow having 1 card that contains info for multiple is better than having multiple customers unless there is a rock solid way to link them all together and easily view orders, workshop jobs, etc.
Upvoting this because would love to see some evolution and increased functionality to Customer records.

Shared email addresses are becoming more and more of a thing (Jones@family.com etc.). It would certainly be great for email to no longer be unique.

Madness any people sharing phone numbers and email address will never work , Citrus lime have based their system arround this being a unique identifier, If the customers is happy to share their mobile phone (which is probably 1 in a million) then surley they can share there store account.
