Searching for customers in POS

We input some customers as a couple, ie. Jim & Peggy Smith.
If I go into back office and search for Jim Smith, I'll find it.
But if I am in the POS and don't know that someone put an & in their name, I won't be able to find them.
Shouldn't the search be the same? Why can't POS just search for anything I type in customer like the back office?

Hi,
We have some improvements coming to the Customer search in the April release of Cloud POS - specifically to solve this issue and improve the partial term search for customers.
